Afghanistan

... اسلامي جمهوریت, Persian: جمهوری اسلامی افغانستان), is a landlocked country located in the heart of Asia and is variously designated within Central and/or South Asia as well as the Middle East. It is largely bordered by Pakistan in the south and east,[5] Iran in the west, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in the north, and the People's Republic of China in the far northeast.

Afghanistan ist eine islamische Republik in Zentralasien mit einer Fläche von 647.500 km² und 31 Mio. Einwohnern. Die Hauptstadt ist Kabul, die Amtssprachen Dari und Paschtu.
Afghanistan grenzt im Norden an Turkmenistan, Usbekistan und Tadschikistan, im Osten und Süden an Pakistan und im Westen an Iran.
Und es gibt noch eine ca. 60 km lange Grenze im Nordosten zu China.
