Today I show you a male specimen.
As you can see there’s a huge colour distinction in this dragonfly-species between the male which is strong vivid red and the female with her yellow-brown colour.
Dutch name : Bloedrode heidelibel (mannetje)
German name : Blutrote Heidelibelle (männchen)
Latin name : Sympetrum sanguineum

Very good captured in a great sharpness, but the section is wrong.This exposure of the male must be in the section "Dragonflies".
