Not in this coming year only, but all through your life, have all the beauties, meet all the nice people that bring happiness, health and peace to your soul, that leeds you to a path of flowering roses around...And.. less problems which can be solved easly with understanding and love...Give space to new beginnings in this New Year trying to embrace all you get...and give whatever you can with unconditional love...
These are my sincere wishes for all my friends here in FC...
Be in the “now” each moment not to miss love....
God bless us everyone.....Have a Merry Christmas and a New Year !...

Said Santa Claus
One winter’s night,

(A visit from St. Nicholas)

Etwas lang, aber hier bekamen die Rentiere ihre Namen.

´Twas the night before Christmas,
when all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring
not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung
by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicolas
soon would be there.
The children were nestled
all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugarplums
danced in their heads;
And Mama in her kerchief,
and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains
for a long winter´s nap,
When out on the lawn
there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my bed
to see what was the matter.
Away to the window
I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters
and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast
of the new-fallen snow
Gave a luster of midday

eyes should appear

The prancing and pawing
of each little hoof.
As I drew in my head
and was turning around,
Down the chimney St. Nicholas
came with a bound.
He was dressed all in fur,
from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished

A bundle of toys
he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler
just opening his pack.
His eyes, how they twinkled!

His cheeks were like roses,

The stump of a pipe

Weiße WeihnachtenDie weiße Weihnacht, haben wir sie wieder?
Die Kinder singen lustige Winterlieder.
In den letzten Jahren konnte Schnee die Erde nicht bedecken,
wir mussten die Füße in Gummistiefel stecken.
Durch Pfützen stapfte man, im Matsch hing man fest
und das immer pünktlich zum Weihnachtsfest.
Die weiße Weihnacht wo war sie nur hin?
Nur als Kinder hatten wir sie noch im Sinn.
Dabei knackte manchmal im November der Frost schon so schön,
selbst Eis auf dem Wasser konnte man seh’n.
Da hoffte man jedes Jahr zur gleichen Zeit,
auf eine frostige, weiße Weihnachtszeit.
Unter dem duftenden leuchtenden Weihnachtsbaum
erzählte man den Kindern von früher, sie glaubten es kaum,
von Eisblumenfenstern, durch die die Schneekönigin schaut,
von meterhohen Schneemännern, von uns gebaut.
Man konnte den Schlitten über das Eis schieben,
wir haben uns gegenseitig mit Schnee abgerieben,
dann gab’s eine zünftige Schneeballschlacht
und abends hat Mutti dann Tee gemacht.
Da rochen aus dem Kachelofen die Bratäpfel lecker,
die Küche sah aus wie beim Zuckerbäcker,
die Schlittschuhe wurden noch an die Schuhe geschraubt,
aus der heißen Dämpfmaschine die heißen Kartoffeln geklaut.
Heute gibt’s für die Äpfel die Mikrowelle
und Kekse und Stollen aus dem Supermarkt auf die Schnelle.
Die Schlittschuhe gibt’s fertig im Stück,
wir haben heute wenigstens die weiße Weihnacht zurück.
Die Kinder hören von Märchen erzählenden Großmüttern,
um Mitternacht ging man Pferd und Kälbchen füttern.
Da leuchten die Kinderaugen unterm Weihnachtsbaum,
geweckt ist wieder dieser alte Weihnachtstraum.
Die Familie ist eng zusammengerückt,
die Kinder hören zu ganz entzückt.
Es ist Weihnachten und die Herzen sind weit,
egal ob es draußen regnet oder schneit.
