On an early morning stroll I came across this little family. There were a total of 21 little ostriches. They ran their little legs off to get away from Man with camera.
Man with Camera knows ostriches are very dangerous birds when they protect their eggs and babies. Man with Camera keeps his distance
Vom Feinsten. Im Vordergrund die Schärfe und de Hintergrund unscharf, aber noch erkennbar gibt dem Bild eine unglaublich räumliche Wirkung. Exzellente Arbeit.

: )))) man with camera made the right decision, i'm sure! woman with little olympus would probably have had a hard time to keep her distance – they're just too irresistibly cute with their chubby little "toddler's legs"! amazing how all those necks seem to be paying attention to different things, looking into all kinds of directions. apparently only the mom knows for sure where the danger is coming from – man with camera ; ))! great spring shot, deryck! it really cheered me up! greetings, sabine.
Ohhhhhhhhh...this is one gorgeous capture of this lovely family Deryck !!!!!!...
Beautiful shot, fantastic light my friend....
Have a nice weekend,
Canan
One two three - another three - and there another group... makes in total fifteen little ones :-)))
Wise man with camera will approach only with tele-lens and good running training ;-))))
this is such a great shot! everything comes together beautifully: the composition, the directionality of their gaze, the light, highlighting the feathers, even the horizontal lines are not distracting but add to the density of the picture, giving it depth and context. truly wonderful!
Love seeing all the family together. Great shot Deryck!! You are so lucky to live where the animals are free to run. Where I live they are all in cages. Love seeing your work. BW~ Lind
