Konik

The konik is a horse that is originally from Poland, where it was bred as a substitute for the extinct tarpan (one of the primal horses).

Nowadays, konik horses are used as wild grazers in nature reserves, especially in eastern Europe, but also in some reserves in the west.

These strong horses can handle very harsh winters trouble-free.
