Dunkeld and Birnam
"Dunkeld and Birnam are two adjacent towns in Perth and Kinross, Scotland. They lie on opposite banks of the River Tay, and were first linked by a bridge built in 1809 by Thomas Telford. Dunkeld and Birnam railway station serves the two towns.

Dunkeld (Scots: Dunkell, from Scottish Gaelic: Dùn Chailleann, "fort of theCaledonians") is a small town in Perth and Kinross, Scotland. It is about 15 miles north of Perth on the eastern side of what is now the A9 road into theScottish Highlands, and on the opposite (north) side of the River Tay from the village of Birnam. Dunkeld and Birnam share a railway station, on the Highland Main Line."

Dunkeld and Birnam Golf Club
"Dunkeld and Birnam Golf Club, is situated in Highland Perthshire. The club was originally constituted in 1892, and the original course was designed by the legendary Old Tom Morris and situated in the village of Birnam. The current course is often regarded as one of the most picturesque golf courses in Highland  Perthshire. Officially opened in 1922 by Her Grace, The Duchess of Atholl, the course has a magnificent heathland setting on a hillside above the historic town of Dunkeld.

The Course affords not only a new and interesting challenge for the golfer but also ever changing views of the glorious surrounding countryside, unrivalled in Highland Perthshire. From the course looking southwest, the outlook is over Dunkeld Cathedral and along Strathbraan whilst to the east wide-ranging views encompass Loch of the Lowes where ospreys breed each spring."

Perthshire
"t’s a small gem of an area that really has so much to offer. It includes a section of the Highland Boundary Fault-line, the geological line where Highland meets Lowland. Because of this, there’s a combination of gentle farmland contrasting with much more wild and rugged terrain. The area is home to many Munros (Scottish mountains over 3000 ft) where Golden Eagles and Ptarmigan live on the higher slopes. There’s abundant plant life as well."
