Is milk still transported in such jugs? If I look at the baskets next to them I presume, that they are situated there out of nostalgic reasons only Am I right?Kind regards,

Thank you, David, for this nostalgic bit of railroadiana. The first thing that came to mind was the ages-ago fun with my Lionel Trains layout and the active little electromagnetic milkman who never tired of unloading such silver milk jugs from a white dairy car onto his platform!Must see this line one day!
