The Living Forest (446) : Coltsfoot
At this time of the year, coltsfoot can be found growing in the forest, mainly in damp places.
Those early spring flowers look a bit like dandelions.
The insect is a green bottle fly.
Dutch name : Klein Hoefblad & Groene Vleesvlieg
German name : Huflattich & Goldfliege
Latin name : Tussilago farfara & Lucilia sericata
