The Stockings Were Hung by the Chimney with Care

the first verse of 14 of a well known English Christmas poem by Clement Clarke Moore ..
'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;

from my house to your house with greetings of the season and best wishes for a peaceful and joyous Christmas !!!!
