Born in Belgium in 1959, Dan Argan, very early on, developed a passion for music and photography. His grandfather offered him his first camera at the age of thirteen years and he made in the wake its first photographs inspired by the fashion and film. The son of a fashion and lingerie designer, women and fashion very quickly become predominant themes of his work. After having travelled a lot and studied film at New York University (NYU), he devoted himself for many years to music while continuing his photographic work on the female body and sensuality that emanates from.
"The rustle of silk stockings, the sensual curves of the woman are for me an inexhaustible source of inspiration" he likes to declare with humor.
His work has been the subject of several group and solo exhibitions in France (Art Paris, Art Strasbourg, Lille Art Fair), Belgium (AD Gallery), the USA, South America.
