Born on the eve of winter..... (4)
A birth on the eve of winter is a great oddity among birds ! But on the 1st of november 2018, 2 black swan chicks were born as you could already see and read in my 3 pictures below.
After the murder of one chick (info in picture nr. 3), my picture shows the only remaining chick which seems to be in good health and is nearly fullgrown (immature stage).
Dutch name : Zwarte zwaan
German name : Trauerschwan, auch Schwarzschwan genannt
Latin name : Cygnus atratus
