Capitol Limited, Harpers Ferry Tunnel
In late afternoon on a late spring day, Amtrak's Chicago-bound Capitol Limited emerges from the tunnel in
Braddock Heights (MD) onto the bridge that will carry it across the Potomac River into Harpers Ferry (WV) station.
The train is being pulled by two GE P42DC Genesis diesel-electric locomotives.
The moment was captured on Kodak Tri-X 400 film,
through a Nikkor AI-S 24mm f/2.8 lens on a Nikon FA.
