I was impressed but also didn't expect that there exist an Egyptian-styled pyramid when we visited Rome. This was built as a tomb with fresco designed interior for a rich Roman magistrate. Behind this pyramid is a non Catholic Cemetery shaded with Cyprus Trees plantation for well known Romantic Poets. Right side of the pyramid is the preserved 3rd-century city gate like a Castle entrance gate , part of the Aurelian wall, home to the Museum of the Ostian Way.
