Europe is complex since it is a comprehensive body consisting of complex member states and individual regions. But there is a structure. One might change it. But politicians should be cautious. It took a long way to build up what we have. The most important benefit of the EU is its contribution to safeguard peace and democracy for more than 70 years after 1945. Hence, my mother (* 1927) always reminds me to be thankful for this and to take the necessary actions that history never comes back.

Deine Mutter ist wie mein Vater (geboren 1920). Er lebte den 2. Weltkrieg. Noch nie hatten wir einen so langen Frieden. Fangen wir nicht wieder einmal an. Europa kann nicht genau sein, was jeder will, weil wir unterschiedliche Meinungen haben.
