Es ist so wie Deryck es schreibt.Ich sehe Deine Bilder, sie sprechen mich an.
Wieso kann ich nicht erklären. Ich kann nicht mal genau sagen, was das in mir bewegt, geschweige denn weiss ich, was Du damit sagen möchtest.
Aber eben genau dieses macht Deine Bilder so interessant, sie lassen sich niemals mit einem Schön (wenn auch nicht negativ gemeint) abtun. Aber auch nicht mit einem Was soll denn das oder Quatsch.
Dieses Sprachlosmachende finde ich ziemlich beeindruckend.

.Hallo Eckhard, danke für die schöne Besprechung, da auch 2011 im Sinne der Entschleunigung steht - der Titel des Bildes hat auch damit etwas zu tun - folgt die Antwort im Laufe der nächsten Woche. Bis dann!

Your pictures always have an effect on me. Not that I get close to understanding your meaning, but more that it makes me look at it for a while to find meaning in general. There is nothing simple about them except for the simplicity itself. But I think all of the above my be your intention.This one - case in point - wants me to out look for the sequel. Surely it cannot be too late yet, surely there must be a way out, a reversal (verso) of the consequences. I don't know. It can never be too late......

Lieber Eric, über mangelnde Rätselhaftigkeit kann man sich bei deinem Bild durchaus nicht beklagen. Dazu hat Sabine ja bereits das Nötige gesagt. Ich werde meine Neocortex noch ein wenig rechnen lassen ;-))). EckhardEnigma

too late for what?? love how you always shake us out of our automated views and make us really think hard about what we see in your pictures and about the "phenomenon" of seeing and interpreting in general. i find it very hard, though, to come up with a coherent comment. can only describe my associations, which are these: i look at the pale wintry forest, the gnarled and twisted and torn "natural chaos" of the trees in the background, which are being invaded by those very straight, very artificially colored, very alien looking poles or straws of different length. and strangely enough, i'm immediately on their side, sucked into their "sense of order", as i feel the sudden urge to push the shorter one down a little bit because i want them to start "levelly", want them both to touch ground – don't know why –maybe i long to shake them out of their perfect symmetry and force them into my own pedantic order, or to punish them for disturbing the peace of the forest with their upright egos ; ))… greetings, sabine. p.s. the "too late /[verso]" enigma will stay with me for a whilel, i guess!Anca Silvia B. 20/12/2010 17:38
