Heads out of the water tail into the heights

Yes, as in the famous children's song, I felt like this scene on the Chobe River. The sun was just setting and we all photographed this crocodile in purple colored water. Actually a quiet thing but suddenly the crocodile lifted his head far out of the water. Almost unobserved by all of us with such a thing as no one had expected. A few fellow travelers were engrossed in conversation and one was changing his lens. But fortunately I was ready to photograph this scene for you.

Ja wie im berühmten Kinderlied kam ich mir bei dieser Szene auf dem Chobe River vor. Die Sonne ging gerade unter und wir fotografierten alle dieses Krokodil im lila gefärbten Wasser. Eigentlich eine ruhige Sache aber plötzlich hob das Krokodil seinen Kopf weit aus dem Wasser. Fast unbeobachtet von uns allen, da mit so etwas niemand gerechnet hatte. Ein paar Mitreisende waren in ein Gespräch vertieft einer wechselte gerade sein Objektiv. Aber zum Glück war ich bereit diese Szene für euch zu fotografieren.
