an image of a seemingly enchanted forest that makes me suddenly understand, why in some fairy tales or nightmares trees come alive and turn into moving creatures! their gnarled appearance and the almost fluorescent shine of the moss covering the branches adds a dramatic touch to them. and down below, near the right edge of the shot, i see a small tree soldier with a giant gun or halberd advancing through the haunted forest… ; ) greetings, sabine.Annie Beaumatin 10/12/2013 1:01

This is honestly one of your best pictures, Andy, so far and one of the best I've witnessed on forest shots. Terrific exposure, indeed, to merge light and colours evenly in the, supposingly, shadowy part and turned it intense where it should be as that like the upper part of the trees. Nicely balanced also contrast to promote a greenish cast on the tree truncs that in this case suits perfectly the subject.all the best alex
One can get a better sense of the changing light by rolling slowly the screen from down upwards...
