Royal Star white magnolia trees (at least this is how I know them) - they are lovely but never last very long. I took this image in Queen Elizabeth Park.

Ein prächtiger Magnolienbaum er ist sehr hoch - die Magnolien in der Wilhelma (im größten Magnolienhain Europas nördlich der Alpen ) sind sie nicht so hoch - sondern eher breiter im Wuchs!!!
Ein Besuch in Stuttgart steht für mich in den nächsten 2 Wochen fest auf dem Programm, denn die Pracht der riesigen Bäume hält auch dort nicht lange an!!!

after your last shot i payed special attention to the magnolia trees in our neighborhood. they are all budding but not in full bloom yet. and they are all a lot smaller than the ones in your beautiful shot! a lovely impression of spring – all those different greens from dark and minty to light and sunny, and "almost-yellow"! and the "ocean of blossoms" is a dream! happy easter sunday, adele! enjoy your company! hugs, sabine.Michael Grotkamp 04/04/2010 8:46
