The Enchantment of a Snowy Evening in Central Park
I guess my nostalgia for the magic of a snowy night in Manhattan during Holiday Season is showing this week...(*)
I'll make no claims to this being one of my technically best (but I do love the moment).
Nor can I attest to her being "enchanted," although her broad smile suggested it.
But I certainly was, at the good fortune of being in New York last December, when an early-season
snowfall of truly photogenic caliber hit the city on a Saturday night during Holiday Season.
Central Park at twilight was full of happy people enjoying the magical views as those big wet flakes created
a true Winter Wonderland. And technically, it wasn't even Winter on this Saturday, December 9, 2017.
I had to smile at how game she was, as she balanced the large shopping
bag and her umbrella while capturing the magic with her camera phone.
Hope she got a great shot!

You have got a wonderful hand for those "snowy moments" in NYC. And this one here is no exemption. Let's forget about all the technical stuff, this photo speaks for itself and it has got a lot to tell. I really love it therefore. Thanks for it, it's a fav. for me.
All the best for you, stay in good health, dear Steve, and I wish you a Happy New Year,
