Under the Freeway No.1 - Ich bin ein Berliner
The mural on the wall of Washington's Berliner Bier und Wursthaus recalls the inspiring speech (*)
made by U.S. President John F. Kennedy in 1963, while visiting the divided city during the Cold War.
The pub is one of the establishments along Water Street,
below the Whitehurst Freeway and close by the Potomac River.

The hairstyle... as it the video !Thank you for sharing this photo - but also the video reminding us of dark times but also of the links between the US and Germany.
