I've been photographing (semi-professionally; never enough to support myself) for more than forty years.
1) I like your choice of equipment; I too used mostly Minolta (and now a Sony A700) for my whole life, although I have a Canon system also.
2) I like what you said about your love of the essential act of taking pictures, regardless of the subject. I too have devoted most of my time and energy to nature, wildlife, landscape, etc., but I shoot anything and everything!
3) Your picture "Trees": It's a difficult subject, having been done too many times in the past, but I like your version; it's got a mystical other-worldly quality to it that stirs the emotions somehow. Very nice!
