greetings from Tokyo
MERCI Sabine pour ton commentaire (toujours épatant) et pour ta lecture détaillée de la photo. Il me semble que tu es la seule (avec moi) à avoir vu ces "détails" !! ;-))
Amitiés & bon weekend, Teresa
Hi Sabine, many thanks for your very sensitive comments.I must admit I am a total elephant fan and it always overwhelms me how quietly they come, all of a sudden they are there and they disappear just as quietly. The tenderness toward their young is so touching, I just cannot understand how people can shoot them. Wish you a good week, cathy
hello dear Poetess Sabine, well, the second 's' is actually an 'f' because in german the 'f' is an 's'.
Like 'fleeves' = sleeves. The great Victor Borge referred to Franz Liszt as 'fliszt' and the famous American-German beer (of Milwaukee. Wisc.) as' flitz' which is actually Schlitz, but I think it has another meaning in german.
thanks for your edifying comment and may your house be safe from tigers. janos
