mowgli was raised by a pack of wolves. this feral child here appears to be dancing with the seagulls… ; ) a magical capture, vita! the charm of the image relies not only on the simultaneous skipping and wing-flapping motions of the child and gulls but also on the fact that the subjects seem so out of proportion: a child as small as a gull, or gulls as big as a child – depending on the view. not sure, though, composition-wise, whether the freedom-radiating couple in the distance should be included in the shot, as, for me, it's telling yet another story… greetings, sabine.
