Bomberos del Aire
Entschuldige fuer meine Englische: I've been to Spanish Galicia for over two weeks. Instead of blue skies and green forests, our holiday was dominated by grey/brown smoky skies and black and burning mountains. Because of the man-made forest fires. Pontevedra and La Coruna are slowly burning down, the Ourense area is next, it seems. over 40.000 hectares are burnt till now. More than 15.000 volunteers are helping the fire fighters. Every day the Canadair CL-215 flying boats were flying over our heads to stop the fires. An everlasting impression that I tried to capture in this photo edit of 5 images...
