    for so many years Seahouses was a main holiday resort for me and my wife.
    and so, when I see this image, my heart does open!

      I know one other fotocommunity member who occasionally has a holiday there in Seahouses - Olli Eddler.  It is only in the past 5 years - that I have noticed more European/continental visitors in Northumberland. Seahouses has its attractions - but it is regarded as a busy, down-to-earth, brash, working-class little resort. Middle class English families from the south of England will tend to stay at places like beadnell, newton or Alnmouth. As a north-easterner, myself - i am grateful for any foreign visitor who makes the effort to visit our locality. Mark.
