Im Sonnenschein wirken die Blumen am Verkaufsstand in der Princess Street nochmal so leuchtend. Im Hintergrund sorgt die Strassenreinigung unauffällig für ein sauberes Edinburgh und die Rückseite der Häuser an der Royal Mile lassen die ersten Hochhäuser Europas erkennen. Dort wohnten arm und reich zusammen, bis die, die es sich leisten konnten in die New Town auswichen.
