Somehow, working up this image (in last night's cold, wind, and rain), suggested a film noir sort of vibe...
Might one imagine Richard Widmark in a rain-soaked trench coat stepping out of the shadows into a waiting taxi?

a dramatic and almost abstract image - the background light gives an unreal sense of blurred movement to the building, contrasting with the stark and detailed foreground. All very powerful and atmospheric.
