Zambezi river

Life on the river
Zambezi river has very little changed since the Scottish missionaire David Livingston first saw it around 1850, insist the locals. From early dawn to evening their life swirls around the river, for the daily common activities that serve bare necessities up to masterly set performances on the river waters for turist entertainement that also reflect the solid connection of their existence to nature and water element. One of the most striking features while sailing along the river is the encounter with all kind of wild life either aquatic or land. Crocodiles, hippos, monkeys, birds, elephants, giraffes, rhinos, zebras etc, all perform being nicely acommodated in their natural ambient. The atmospheric variability and sudden weather changes is another outstanding happening to experience.
