Manhattan-bound on the Willy-B

It’s close to 5 PM on a sunny summer Saturday, which would account for the heavy Manhattan-bound traffic on the Williamsburg Bridge over the East River.

On the other hand, the bicyclist and the M train made up of shiny railcars of the R-160 “New Technology Train” type, are breezing right along on their respective rights of way.

In addition to the M train, the “Willy B” also carries J and Z trains between Manhattan and Brooklyn. All three lines terminate in Queens.
