My first serious self portrait.
I arranged this photo with the intent of giving it a dark feeling. It didn't come out as dark as I wanted it from the start so I had to modify the background in photoshop. I then strenghtened the contrast and gave some structure to my face.

I think the detail came out quite nicely. The lighting is perfect. The subjects eyes look so intense...makes you want to know the reason for the emotion...very well done!
