Not the best times

In our places all small reservoirs have frozen also birds were flied on the biggest lake, with the big ice-hole. But also this ice-hole decreases every day. When the lake completely will become covered by ice to birds there will be nothing to eat. People should help them. Please.

A very pretty dreamy composition of snow
and feathery birds! I have been away this
winter and have been taking a break from FC,
I am sorry for not responding on time.
Hope all is good and to catch up soon!
    Cheers, Ves

you are right: it's tough times for the watebirds! over here the swans are the lucky ones, for they've long been carted off to their winter residence, a place where the water won't freeze and they are well taken care of. the ducks, coot, and geese are still out there, though. but people come and feed them, and there's still some "open water" underneath the bridges… – – beautiful shot! like the majestic swan in the snow a lot! and the background with the "frozen forest" looks very pretty! cheers, sabine.
