MAJA, a topgallant sail schooner, is the 4th largest sailing ship of Denmark. The mast reaches a height of 28 meters.
Its port of registry is Hvide Sande.

Very nice detail from this schooner ship , the crop is nice too....
One thing though , cropping in this format if you don't have a flatscreen 16:9 is that you lose quite some pixels in the hight from the image..
The normal crop 1000 x750 gives you much more to see on a regular monitor ...
Some cameras have the option to shoot directly in the 16:9 format...
I have done this crop 16:9 also for my own flatscreen ( 1920x1080 ) and must say the pictures on there are fabulous.....
Great idea to make a extra corner for this 16:9 cropped images...

Wie oft stehe ich vor der Seuten Deern in Bhv und finde keinen Ausschnitt für ein Foto´von Mast und der Takelage ;-)

Fantastic work here. Great shot of all the working sail lines. This would be great to mat and frame.

Starke Perspektive....das als Arbeitsplatz wäre allerdings nichts für mich,das Herz würde tiefer als in die Schuhe rutschen :-)
