When you think you've met someone special
a rainbow star that fell from the sky.
When you’re disappointed to find they have another…
When you can't help the way you feel
When your insides wriggle like an eel
When your love, lust, desire, passion
call it what you will
gets bottled up, and makes you ill.
When your love must go unrequited
When you feel blighted
When you wish you was someone else
When you feel like you've been left on the shelf
When you hope in your heart of hearts
that the friendship will last forever
although, love would have been a nice start.
When you wonder if they feel the same as you
will it be the start of something new?
