Strong Boy #2
sometime ago I visited the Nikon Solutions fair and had the opportunity to test a new D800 together a 600mm/f4,0 lens. (Just for understanding... the pricing of this equipment is around 12,000€...Nothing for me!) For the testing there was a bodybuilding show where I captured this shot. The jpg.file has a size of over 22MB, the RAW file over 40MB
My shot is a bit like my comment about the expensive highend photo gear.... both are quite a bit "overdressed" and hype....most of us don't need it at all.

: ))) the light… the glorification… it's what they do to the meat in the meat section of the supermarkets, too: blue light to make the meat look redder… ahem, went all wrong in this case… maybe they got confused and used gamma rays instead… side effect: incredible hulk turned blue! ; )) that said, it's still an amazing shot, bernhard! his "pumped-up" body looks fascinatingly three-dimensional – like an oversized action figure you might find in a toy store… greetings, sabine. p.s.: the wedding band – quite touching! whom might he be married to? wonderwoman? ; ))) greetings, sabine.Adele D.
