ThamesScape No.2 - Bishop's 'Crooklet' - -A FiDi Impression

I love photographing the distinctively traditional ironwork of New York's Bishop's Crook lampposts, (*)
especially when combined with the narrow "Old New York" streets in the Financial District.

But sometimes a street is "too" narrow for the complete version. Thames Street between Trinity Place and
Broadway would qualify for that description. Two early 20th century skyscrapers, the Trinity and United States
Realty Buildings rise on either side of the narrow thoroughfare.

Ah, but that "Old New York" ambiance is maintained by these bracketed versions of the Bishop's Crook
(I like to think of them as Bishop's 'Crooklets' ;-) ) attached to both buildings along the entire block,
harmonizing nicely with the Neo-Gothic details.
