The Living Forest (665) : Black Kite
The black kite is a medium-large bird of prey that is almost entirely restricted to Europe, but in Belgium it’s a very rare species.
It is clear that, given the state of its plumage, this is already a very old specimen that probably won't make it through the winter....

Latin name : Milvus migrans

Another great portrait in beautiful light.Unfortunately the frame is a bit too tight. Probably you had a long lens and the bird was too close.
