The Living Forest (810) : Long-eared owl
During daytime, the forest offers a good place to sleep for birds that are mainly active by night.
I spotted this sleeping long-eared owl between some juniper bushes, while it was still pretty dark in the forest.
I had to wait about an hour before the morning sunlight lighted up the owl in a sufficient way for only a few seconds.

German name : Waldohreule
Latin name : Asio otus otus
