The Red Maple and the Elusive Coyote
in VanDusen Gardens
I had gotten glimpses of him before, but always he was gone too fast, but there he was suddenly trotting along still far away, and I was quick to get a shot of him. Of course I had no time to re-set my camera and he is blurred behind the little maple tree. So I have had him in my archives for a couple of years and somehow now think it is ok to show him :-)))

Herbst und Wind haben hier kein leichtes SpielDa müssen sie noch paar mal vorbei schauen, bis das letzte Blatt gefallen ist.

An unusual shot.It's amazing that they are also finding their way into the civilized world and its cities. As long as they don't endanger people, I don't think that's a bad thing.
Here too, more and more wild animals, that usually live in the forests, are finding their way into villages and towns. As more and more garbage (including food) accumulates, it is easier for many animals to find food than in their natural habitat.
