The Start of A Beginning...
This lady was preparing to begin the first of several ceremonies for a wedding I attended in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh from Nov. 28 to Dec. 1, 2004 (though I stayed in India for 15 days). In this particular ceremony, only married women were allowed to take part in it.
It was quite an experience to witness the ceremonies and I will share interesting parts over the next few weeks.
(I took some 500+ pictures!)

Cari, no no, I didn´t mean it that way. It should be only a joke because that is a nice carpet, would surely fit somewhere in our house. ;-))) (although I prefer Persian made).
