Photo taken in the hills above Votsalakia with the view towards the Kerkis mountain range and the southwest coast of Samos.
Area of the big fire, that raged in August 2010 through the Kakoperato region east of the Kerkis mountain range, starting 150 meters south of the monastery Panagias Kakoperato and burning its way down the hills almost to the walls of the first houses of Votsalakia on the south coast.
