My annual photographic review of 2019

The new year is still young and 2019 in good memory. Therefore right now it is a good opportunity to look back and review the last year.

My highlight has been our journey through Scandinavia. We hooked the caravan and went up to the northernmost point of Europe, the North Cape at the Arctic Ocean. Here we were nearer to the North Pole than to our home.
On the way back we explored a good portion of Norway, enjoyed the beautiful nature and stunning landscapes.

From left to right:

Fryken is a chain of lakes, about 35km long
Siljan is the 6th largest lake in Sweden
Kautokeino is one of the cultural centers city of the Sapmí people
North Cape - northernmost point of continental Europe
Vesterålen is an archipelago north of Lofoten
Lofoten - southern part of the archipelago, still 300km north of the
Arctic Circle - the line of the midnight sun
Svenningdal - a beautiful valley
Ålesund - the famous view from Aksla mountain
Geiranger - at the end of one of the most beautiful fjords in Norway
Trollveggen - the tallest vertical rock of Europe, about 1100m from bottom to summit
Kungälv - a sweet little old town not far from Gothenburg
