A Loss of Sense

A simple inlet in the Isle of Lewis before the sun peaks over the horizon to stir the glassy surface. I can see why at the first stone one would create myths of pagan gods like the Lady of the Lake In King Author's Tales. The moment was brief. One wow, as I scrambled out my car like a fly trying to set up elephant like tripod. With color meter, spot meter, and ambient meter in hand. I felt like a clown juggling under the tent. Only time enough to grad an exposure with these instruments and press the cable release in single shutter mode.

I never got a chance to readjust for a second exposure.Sometimes too much gear is just too much. Small cameras always have you racing about, and for me Landscape photography is just another mode from going wild in the streets for me.

The sun had closed the door and muggle life had begun. I packed up carefully, and headed for breakfast. Sausage, toast and scramble eggs pleas, I've learned how to avoid a full Scottish Breakfast.
