A mill on the rocks
Greece Aegean Sea Karpathos(Dodekanese)
Karpathos is a biggish island belonging to the Dodekanese plexus although it's nature tends more to a Cykladian type island as it is bare, volcanic and rocky in almost it's entire surface. It has beautiful coasts though and cruising along them with a boat for swimming and fishing, is a must.
The photo is from the north part of the island which is particularly dry, rough and mountainous.

It looks ans sounds truly inhospitable...apart from that coastline. I find it amazing that someone should build a windmill here, but they did and they must have had reason. A stunning view over this vvolcanic terrain.:))
