@Sarah... thx 4 ur comment. Hehe, the way her toeis bent looks a little strange, true. But I like the way
you think of it. I guess the picture is ok anyway.
The shadows are not the original ones. They are
based on the originals but mostly created in Photoshop. I like that certain look. Dont know...
Id like to call it popart or maybe "american style".
So it wasnt my intention to make the picture look
too natural : ) Adriana is a semiprofessional model
from Germany. She won several regional beautycontests over here.

indeed she's a lovely model and the white space surrouding her with the subtle shadows demonstrates excellent lighting choices. the toe on her left foot is missing. not literally missing, but it's bent in a manner that makes it look like a missing toe. that said, in the face of all this mainstream canon of beauty, i love the "missing" toe. it makes her a bit more human to viewers who study the image if they can move on from the very obvious and predictable studio glamour portrait. it's nicely rendered, but to the point of artificial flesh. what's she like? how does her laugh sound? why did she choose to become a model? what other passions fill her life?Daren Borzynski 23/01/2007 17:04
