Albero del corallo
L’albero del corallo nei luoghi d’origine (Sudamerica) raggiunge dimensioni medie, tra i 5 e i 6 m. Qui da noi raramente supera i 4 metri.
I fiori sono il tratto distintivo dell’albero del corallo.
Nascono in infiorescenze a grappolo molto appariscenti, poste su racemi terminali. Ogni infiorescenza è composta dai 20 ai 40 fiori.
The coral tree in its places of origin (South America) reaches an average size, between 5 and 6 m. Here with us it rarely exceeds 4 meters.
Flowers are the hallmark of the coral tree.
They arise in very showy cluster inflorescences, placed on terminal racemes. Each inflorescence consists of 20 to 40 flowers.
