At the Shwedagon Pagoda circle

In Burma all visitors of holy places are asked to take of shoes and socks. The only downside is being made to walk barefoot, but it’s all part of the experience, and you soon learn to hop from one shady spot to another so the hot tiles don’t scorch your feet (they inevitably will at some point though).

This photo was captured during my honeymoon in February 1981 and scanned with my NIKON CoolScan V ED.
It makes me fun to select and scann old photos, this reminds me old memories I made during an amazing trip.
