Bent Cottonwoods
When Dale and I were snowshoeing through
our property this afternoon, I was shocked to see
that two old cottonwood trees had broken off.
They were both bent for years with new shoots
growing, forming arches over our trail. I used
this photo for one of my Christmas cards. The
trees are still standing but the arches are gone ... :-(

Ohoh....die biegen sich ja ganz schön....bei uns in Nordeutschland habe wir im Moment ähnliche Situationen...massenhaft Schnee und strengen Frost...seit 30 Jahren wieder einmal...
