Broken Dreams (2)
once upon a time there was life here ... one wonders what happened ...
we came upon this deserted house on tiny Tumbo Island (a ca. 10 hour sail from Vancouver) - it was locked up, I shot through the window .... the house had a big fruit orchard, signs of a garden, a couple of sheds, a landing area for boats - all is a big mystery as with other houses we have found deserted on more northern islands.
I photographed the two rooms one year earlier:
