Busy life in Thamel, Kathmandu
Some days on some places it is hard to find a way through the crowd of people in the narrow lanes. I couldn't recognize some places in Thamel compaired to my first visit in Nepal in 1978.
Thamel got the center of entertainment and offers all kinds of restaurants. Its distinguished by its narrow streets crowded with various shops and vendors. Commonly sold goods include food, pastries, walking gear, music, DVDs, handicrafts, and clothes. Travel agencies, and budget hotels, restaurants also line the streets.
