Courthouse Towers
Sometimes a thunderstorm has its advantage, especially if you are a photographer looking for chances.
Visiting Arches N.P. I recalled a photograph from well-known Tom Till and so we stopped at Courthouse Towers. I went the trail (Park Avenue) along the empty arroyo and suddenly spotted a little puddle. Perfect to arrange the photo :-)

…a puddle shaped like the orca that probably lived their eons ago, when the place was still a prehistoric ocean! ; )) in fact, it's still a very primeval place! and the rock, smoothed and worn by the weather looks almost like a man-made monument! beautiful composition indeed with the rock reaching skywards and the puddle pointing the opposite way! greetings, sabine.Klaus Kieslich 02/09/2012 15:28
